Teenage girls, who eat the chips with friends in any theater, fear about a little bit of excess oil in home made curries. They think that the packet food doesn’t contain cholesterol as it has zero cholesterol written on it. Let us know to what extent these believes are true.
Many people are of the opinion that even a little bit of cholesterol makes us fat and raises other health problems. It is true for some extent only. All kinds of fats are not harmful and all are not useful. Useful fats are obtained naturally. It improves the fertility levels. Body acquires glow. Joint pains will be lowered. Hair becomes shiny. They are available in almonds, walnut, pista, groundnut, kaju, flax seeds. Useful fat is also obtained from coconut. But it should be taken in limited quantities only.
When it comes to harmful fats, transfats are an example. This kind of fat is used in making of biscuits and the chips available in the market. Olive oil, pure ghee comes to the section of medium fats. Heating the already used oil will turn it to harmful fat.
Many people are of opinion that they get required amount of calcium if they take milk. Then from where the cows and such herbivorous animals are getting calcium? We should know that calcium is produced by the trees that these herbivorous animals eat and the water also produces calcium which provides life for these plants. Calcium is available in mineral water, foods made with sesame seeds and vegetables like spinach.
We think that they don’t use oil and fat in the making of chips because it is written on them. This opinion is wrong. They use plant oils abundantly in them. Zero cholesterol means that they don’t contain animal fat. That’s why don’t feel too excited to see zero cholesterol. They can also harm the heart. Be careful. Fried almonds and groundnuts can be taken instead of them. They have zero cholesterol.
