Various address book management tools | Use these tools for managing the contacts easily

Hundreds of phone numbers are saved in the mobile phones.  Important addresses are written in the diaries. What happens if the mobile or the diary is lost.  Take a back up of these numbers and addresses in the computer or a laptop.

Easy procedure

The addresses and phone numbers can be saved without any procedures like software installation.  Go to Start->Programs->Accessories.  Address book will appear in the Menu.  Enter the details of contact by selecting the New->New Contact under Tool bar.  Enter the details in Name, Home, Business, Personal and Other tabs.  Contacts can be searched using the Find People option.  Print outs can also be taken.  Other address management tools and contacts can also be uploaded using the Import option.  Editing is possible by double clicking on the address in the list.

Efficient Address Book Free

If the phone numbers and addresses are to be saved with additional features, down load the Efficient Address Book which is not the default address book that comes with Windows.    Photos can also be uploaded with this.  Enter the details of the Address by clicking on the plus sign in the tool bar.  A contact window will appear with the General, Details, Photos and All fields tabs.  If photos are to be uploaded, choose Tab and click on the Add option. Comments can also be written.  To view all the contact details select All Fields.  Print outs of the addresses can be taken.  Look out for addresses using Search option. Addresses in other services can be uploaded using the Export option in the Tools menu.

Handy Address Book

Handy Address Book is designed to search the addresses stored in the system in the alphabetical order easily.  Tool Bar, Menu  bar and letters from A – Z will appear after downloading and installing.  Addresses can be saved by clicking on the Add option. If hide is selected it goes into the system tray.  To get it back, just click on the icon in the tray.  Select the letters on the left side to view the contacts.

Categories

To save the addresses categorically as family, friends, business etc install E-Z Contact Book.  Personal and Business tabs are provided.  Birthdates can also be saved in the Other Tab Calendar.  Remind me for and Show papup reminder can also be used to remind the birthdates and other important dates.

Additional features with address book

CRM-Express is designed with Calendar, Tasks and Journals along with the address book.  It will ask for a key board after installation.  Enter admin and open it.  A window will appear with Address book, Calendar, Tasks and Journal menus.  Go to Address book->News to enter numbers.  Choose the calendar tab to save the tasks of the day.  Task maintenance can also be arranged.

Small software

Install MyPhone Book Dialer to save contacts without any menus and tool bars.   This is designed as a text book in a window.  Click on the MyPhone icon that appears on the screen after installation. Name, Address, Company, Email, web page and mobile numbers can be entered by selecting the New option in the Phone Dir window.
