T-Mobile MyTouch 3G is a sleek, portable and appealing device with dimensions of  4.65” tall by 2.19” wide by 0.65”deep and weighs about 4.09 ounces.  It is available in white, black or merlot colors with tactile controls, eye-catching design and customizable interface. Though 3.2” touch screen’s color supports 262,000 hues, with T-mobile gorgeous display of high screen resolution (480×320 pixels), HVGA display shows colors, graphics and pictures excellently.

Features:

MyTouch’s organizer book holds 8 phone numbers for each contact, 4 e-mail addresses, an IM handle, a postal address, a company/organization name and notes. Callers to groups can be saved, assign a photo and one of 55 polyphonic ring tones. Additional 250 names can be stored on the SIM card and synchronize the Gmail contacts with the phone.

The MyTouch offers many features such as calculator, an alarm clock, and a calendar with Gmail calendar synchronizing. More organizer applications included are a world clock, a notepad and to-do list. Also included are Wi-Fi, USB mass storage, stereo Bluetooth, Outlook e-mail synchronizing and speaker-independent voice dialing. Call and data performance are excellent.

Apart from the standard text and multimedia messaging, MyTouch 3G supports a variety of POP3 e-mail services. As memory is limited to 512 MB RAM, available storage should be tracked very carefully. The handset’s memory card slot (which can accommodate cards up to 32GB)  i.e., a  4GB MicroSD card came up with only for saving it for pictures, music and other attachment files.  Music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, OGG, and RM files on the MyTouch using the microSD card or USB cable.

Features lacking are a standard 3.5-millimeter headset jack, a file manager and camera-editing options. Uneven video quality, HTML browser interface and virtual keyboard have their defects. Outlook calendar and contacts synchronizing were not supported.
