Now a days Studies in abroad have became very costly since the tuition fees and other expenditure is became very heavy and comes to lakhs of rupees. In view of huge expenditure the higher studies facilities offering by many International Universities have not useful to the students. To encourage the merit students, many interested scholarship schemes have been introduced by several countries. The total expenditure from tuition fee to other required expenditure during the course time will be provided to the eligible candidate through scholarships. The Ministry of Human Resources Department, Government of India have commenced the Cultural exchange programmes in several countries and extending their co-operation to Indian students in the matter of sanction of scholarships.

ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK – JAPAN SCHOLARSHIP :
If the students of Asian Development Bank membership countries wants to study their post graduate courses in foreign countries, financial assistance can be extended to them by scholarship scheme. In the year 1988, with Japan Government assistance this scheme has been commenced.
In countries, where the candidates have interested to study their P.G. courses, they have to acquire the academic qualifications, and two years work experience, then they can seek admission in the respective courses. As per rules & regulations, in force the candidates, who are seeking admission, have to reside compulsorily in that country. For this scholarship the candidate can apply maximum two times. At present these scholarships are extending to the Post graduation students of Economics, Commerce, International business, Transport management, International public health engineering branches. In the scholarship the Tuition fee, Residential expenditure, To and fro flight charges are included. However the candidate sanctioned with scholarship.
Date of application: Presently – 2010 July, academic year, for PG courses seeking Candidates, admission notification is issued.

DAAD Scholarships
These Scholarships will be provided by German academic exchange Service, particularly to the candidates who are in the field of study of courses of Doctoral studies, Fellowships PhD, Scalars, Sandwich Model fellowships, PhD registered scalars and this fellowship also provided for particular Post graduate courses. The Tuition fee, residential charges as per the terms and conditions are included in this scholarship scheme. However scholarship will be provided to the eligible candidates. At present the DAAD scholarship application procedure is commenced.
The last date of application by on line: October 1.
The candidates who have desired to apply for this scholarship they have to produce their Guide (Professor) declaration and confirmation letter.

CHARLES VALISE INDIA TRUST FELLOWSHIPS:
The scholarship Charles valise India trust fellowships is an most advantage facility to the candidates who are interested to do their research in foreign countries on the courses of Arts, Literature, Journalism, Academics. Mainly for research candidates doing on these courses of heredity property, textiles, paper, photographs, museums viz., Fee, and all expenditure can be provided through this scholarship. The Australian Endeavor scholarships are a benefit to the candidates who wants to study in Australia in the field of technical education branches, research and professional. The candidates of Post graduation or Research related social work branches will be given more importance for sanction of the scholarships. On the name of Professional Development – Executive awards the employees are also having this scholarship benefit. In this branch, to gain the scholarship, for undergraduates 10 years, for Graduates 5 years work experience is compulsory. In the field of technical education the candidates who want to study in the Australia Universities i.e., in the courses of Arts, Culture, Pollution, Health care subjects, will also provided with scholarships.

SWEDISH INSTITUTE FELLOWSHIPS
In the Institutions of Sweden, the students who want to study their PG, Doctoral, and Post doctoral courses they will be provided with Swedish Institute of fellowships. And it is applicable for many branches including Arts, Humanities and Science. Particularly 200 scholarships are allotted to P.G. students.
On the name of short term fellowship, yearly 400 scholarships are provided. In these scholarships 70 to 120 scholarships are provided for selected branches. The candidates of PhD are also eligible and provided the same scholarships. The PG students will be paid monthly fellowship of 8,000 Swedish Coronal, and 12,000 Swedish coronal to PhD candidates.
ERASMAS MUMDAS
The European Union countries, have sponsoring this scholarship programme for the benefit of candidates from P.G to PhD. In European Union countries the candidates can seek their admission in 103 P.G. Courses through this scholarship. The candidates, who are interested to enter in the fields of Science & Technology, are given importance for sanction of this scholarship. Total expenditure related to their Tuition fee, residential facility, medial allowance, Insurance, etc., can be meet by the candidates with this scholarship. The candidates who are provided with this scholarship, can study their first year P.G. course in one country and the 2nd year course in another country as per their choice.
