has anyone heard about problems with the Ford Sony Stereo system. My 2010 Fusion Sony Strreo sounds terrible – no bass, no imaging – terrible sound. I can hear the radio in the background while listening to the ipod through the Aux. input – this does not seem right – has anyone heard of this happening? Great car otherwise love it.

    thanks

This car has great features, but let me tell you, problems from the get-go (got it brand-new from the facory and am not happy with my purchase) : defective transmission needed to be replaced; rattling sunroof frame had to be fixed due to loose parts (ford service is horrible, they got my entire brand new leather interior filthy and the ceiling of the car too, no protective coverings were used), and my sound system doesn’t work. I pay for sirius radio and can’t even enjoy it because the sound disappears and the volume on the screen reads “maximum volume” when that happens. I am dreading bringing it to the dealer because they are so unprofessional. You really think I’m gonna buy a Ford again??

I just received my 2010 fusion SEL today, and found the sound system excellent. You have to adjust the bass, treble, and speaker adjustment. I had my bass set too high when I took delivery, so I adjusted it back a little. You can also set the speakers so you hear more of them in the front of the car too. It is an adjustment issue….once you do that you will be as happy with the sony system as I am…..
