Maida Fruit Savarin with Cream
Ingredients:
Maida or all purpose flour – 200 grams
Eggs – 4
Milk – 1 cup
Yeast- 1 tsp
Sugar – 4 tsp
Butter – 100 grams
Whipped Cream – 200 grams
Mixed Fruits – ½ cup
Sugar Syrup – ½ litre
Vanilla Essence – 4 tsp
Method of Preparation:
Take all purpose flour (Maida) in a vessel. Add Milk, Sugar, and Yeast to it and ferment it for about half an hour. After it gets fermented, mix the beaten eggs very well and add melted butter to it, soak and keep it aside.
Grease with butter to the rounded mould or cake tin and sprinkle the flour on it. Now pour the batter in it and bake the oven at 200 degrees temperature for about 30 minutes.
Once it gets cooled, add vanilla essence in the sugar syrup and pour it on the cake. Garnish the cake with whipped cream and mixed fruits. Refrigerate it and serve cold.
