Job seekers have to update their Resumes for every 6 months with even one additional point added in the resume. If not, the company may take it as a drawback that you are not doing anything since from then. So, the candidates must learn new things & must update their profile. For Example the points like;
- If you have learnt any new language mention about it & at the same time, how much you are well versed with that language? & how that language is useful for the job that you are applying? Are to be mentioned in the resume.
- If you have done any certificate courses mention about it also. At the same time, from which institute? & how that course is useful for you in developing your career etc; are the topics that are to be mentioned.
- If you have undergone any training programmes regarding any courses or any other thing, mention that too.
- Mention the point that, if you have worked as a team leader for any company & its complete details. This may help the recruiter to know about your talent, skills, and leadership qualities and so on.
- If you have worked for any company on any contract basis, it increases your opportunity to grab the job. At the same time, the work description, what have you learnt from that work & what skills are added to your talent are to be mentioned?
By mentioning each and every additional qualification from time to time, the candidate’s talent, skill & capacity are updated. The candidate has to assess his talents & skills before hand before preparing resume. He has to design his certificate according to the job he has selected. The basic qualifications, talents & skills of the candidate are to be mentioned at the top of the resume or on the cover letter.
In order to please the recruiter, do not mention any fake qualifications which may affect your career altogether. As there is a downfall in IT company recruitments, candidates has to be very careful while attending an interview. In order to get a job by hook or crook candidates may mention fake qualifications which may spoil their career. Previously, when there is an IT boom, the companies did not particularly point out on the qualifications & skills of the candidate, they just recruited as many people as possible to fulfill their necessities. But, now the things have undergone many changes. The companies are very strict in verifying the qualifications, skills, talents of the candidate & if he possesses all the required qualities he is immediately recruited into the job.
If you mention that you have an experience in any particular field, the details like period of time & the company name & your job description are to be mentioned in the resume. There are chances where the recruiter may enquire your where abouts in the previous company which may become a threat to your career if it is a fake information. Even the qualifications of the candidate are enquired by contacting the concerned universities or collages before recruiting to know that whether the information displayed is fact or fake.
Honesty & Sincerity are the two major qualities that are needed for any company in order to recruit a candidate. Even the qualification occupies the second position. The candidates have to prove their talents & skills in a very justifiable manner in order to have a sound career.
