How to prevent hair fall? | Find the Hair fall general reasons and causes and Hair falling precautions
Hair fall is a common problem. These days we hear this complaint from children to adults regardless of age. Hair is also made up of material called keratin as like skin. We should take care of hair as we do with skin. Hair also requires nutrients like skin. On an average, 50 to 100 hair falls per day. But it should be considered as problem only if more hair fall than this figure occurs.
General Causes:
–When the weather is dry, hair fall may occur due to dryness of hair. When moisture is present, hair fall occurs due to wetness.
–Sunrays and ultra-violet rays.
–Mental stress, personal and professional problems, exam fear for students.
–Taking head bath with too hot water and usage of hair dryers.
–Hair straightening and hair curling
Other Reasons:
Hormonal deficiency, hypothyroidism, anemia, deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, infection and dieting are the other reasons.
Precautions:
–Firstly shampoos are to be selected that suits hair nature. One should shampoo twice a week. For oily hair, shampooing for alternative days is compulsory.
–Conditioner is compulsory. Dry hair people should apply oil before taking head bath.
–Balanced diet enriches hair. Take food with adequate quantities of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Foods that provide these nutrients are leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, eggs, cereals and diary products.
–Even then if the problem persists consult doctor for fluid test. Take medicines according to the prescription.
