How long we have to take Antibiotics?

It is very important to use the antibiotics that are prescribed by the doctor when we are suffering from cough and cold because it is a course of medicines that are given by the doctor to get relived from those diseases. Some of us do not use the complete course of medicines but stop in the middle if we feel a bit better but it is not the correct way to do because only when the course is completed then only the bacteria will die.

In that case, again the bacteria will do its activities in our body with full energy than before and finally the disease will not be cured even for the antibiotics too. For further treatment, powerful medicines are to be prescribed by the doctor to cure the disease. In general it takes number of days to kill the bacteria in the human body that is why doctors prescribe 5 to 7 days of antibiotics to cure the disease. The result will be good only when the course is used completely but if it is missed in the middle, we have to face the side effects.
