Homeo treatment for Dandruff

Dandruff is the problem caused by bacterium called Seborrheic Dermatitis. It will be seen on the scalp as flakes and small pimples. It will cause itching and some marks will also be formed because of it. Loss of hair is the main symptom. Head bath with kunkudu rasam (fruit juice of soap nut tree) will be very much useful in relieving from this problem. Based on the symptoms, homeo medicines can also be taken.

If hair fall and itching are felt along with presence of dandruff, Calciphus-30 should be taken daily for ten days. This medicine will work effectively if used for four or five times daily. More benefits can be got by using hair oil added with Arnica oil.

When itching is present and after burning sensation is present after itching, hair fall is seen, flakes are seen falling, then phosphorus-30 medicine should be taken for two times daily for one week.

Some will have their hair turned into white or yellow color at early stages. Hair on beard also starts falling. Pain will be present in the scalp. They should be given phosphoric acid-200 daily two times for four or five days.

Some will have itching on the scalp along with pimple and the itching will spread to the back of ear. Pain will be felt after itching. They have to take Sepia-200 single dose and will be effective.

When roots of hair are touched, more pain will be felt in some people. Hair will become dry and will fall. Along with pain in the head, itching will be present and this will be increased at the evening times. Taking sulphur-200 one dose at morning for one week will be useful to relive from this problem. This medicine works well even when hair fall occurs after parturition.
