CANCER CURING PROCEDURES – Radiation therapy, Chemotherapy, Targeted Therapy

Around 10 years back the percentage of curing cancer disease is around 30% to 40% only.  But using the technology it is possible to cure the cancer around 70%.  The various techniques used for curing cancer is Radiotherapy (to destroy the cancer cells by passing Radiation to the body) , Kamotherphy ( using appropriate medicines) , medical treatment (using Surgery).

Using General Treatment

In olden days when they are doing treatment for cancer they use to remove various parts which are affected in the body.    But using the current technological methods we can give treatment to the cancer patient to cure without removing the affected parts.  So that the cancer will be cured without becoming the physically handicapped.

Radiation therapy

With the latest technological treatment the sensitivity was increased and it with this advanced technology, the machines like IMRT, IGRT, Novalis TX Machine, SRS and SRT methods are in practice in this field through which the cancer cells are destroyed.

Chemotherapy

Before two decades there are only 10-15 anti cancer medicines that are available for curing the cancer and besides this there are many side effects by using these medicines. But with the advanced technology, many medicines are available in the market which does not have any side effects.

New Method…Targeted Therapy

It is with this therapy that one can locate the cancer cells in the body and treat for that part so that there are many chances to cure the disease even in the very early stage itself.
